I've had an Ob Xpander for years, but looking forward to Behringers UBXA especially the module so I can maybe actually afford an OBXA at least as a clone.

This is one of the greatest synths ever made. This is why Journey, Van Halen, Rush, ABBA, and a myriad of 80's bands relied on this amazing synth work horse. In the age of sophisticated Yamaha, Korg and Roland synths there is something missing in the thin sound they produce. Listen to them alone and they sound pretty good but play them side by side and listen to the old 80's songs played on these synths today and it sounds like a cheap imitation. OB-Xa was released in 1980 this huge analog sound is hard to reproduce in the digital world of 2018 and it is sorely missed.
