Shopping List
1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
8-10 oz broccolini (or broccoli)
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsps sherry wine
2 tsps corn starch
1/4 tsp baking soda
salt and MSG (optional)
1/2 red onion
green onion
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder

Sauce:
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsps oyster sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp garlic
1 tsp ginger paste

Cornstarch and Baking soda are a must to velvet the beef to make extra tender and thicken the sauce. Beautiful and Delicious as always.

One of my favorite takeout meals 😻😻 in addition to the cornstarch and baking soda which I feel is a must to velvet the beef, I also add an egg white to help tenderize the beef. I love watching you cook keep up with your great recipes 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I make mines similar I just add a sprinkle of sugar also, and let my meat marinate over night I had a tuff thick London broil .. with the marinate can't even tell that's how soft it comes out .. love your recipes 😋 cut against the grain thin slices

Made this with soy curls and let them soak in vegan beef broth to get flavor and added the sauce as well to let it soak up everything and it was a hit! If I had Chinese takeout containers you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference! Thanks!
