Here in this video we put out 5 MORE Tips For Micro Budget Feature Filmmaking. The five tips are things we learned on our second feature film Chlorine that we released for free on youtube just a week ago. The film is an improv feature film and is definitely a unique project that had its own unique challenges.
Here is the last micro budget tips we did for our film The Long Con

By the end of the year this channel will have at least 20, 000 subscribers. Haha.

This is the most inspiring thing. Having directed 5 short films in the past 6 months, I know how difficult it is to get people to cooperate and contribute.
Honestly, amazing work on Chlorine!

I'm thinking of doing a no budget feature over the summer, and this is super helpful. Chlorine really showed me that it's possible.

"get people that will work for free" I am looking at helping people with there first films, because it helps me learn how to make videos better.

It's not a matter of *IF* you make it, it's a matter of *WHEN* . Stephen King once said "Talent is cheaper than table salt. Hard work beats talent." Not verbatim but just giving you a snippet of the quote. Chlorine is better than some films that had bigger budgets. You'll be rejected 100 times before you get that yes, but *NEVER* let rejection stop you. It's the film industry, it's like that for everyone in it from writers to actors. My point is, don't ever stop.

There is a LOT of territory between "big name actor" and "friend willing to work for free" if you can't find a trained, competent actor who likes your script enough to do it for expenses/copy or a small stipend then you're not looking or your script sucks.

What does "You To Got Learn"? The thumbnail is misleading.

This is just the kind of thing I needed to see today. I found you guys through Austin McConnells channel. I've been making silly shorts for nothing for years (not that I show them anyone, ha ha) and now from seeing yours videos think a zero budget feature might be on the cards. Keep up the good work!
Edit: Figured I'd drop a link for silly short I did which is now quite topical as it's about someone self isolating (although for different reasons) :)

Having made my own low budget feature i agree with everything except for "Theme".
Theme is bullshit :)

Seriously trying to follow, but because you're not using an outboard mic, the sound is awful.
