Now we have AWS AppSync. I wonder if AppSync and it's caching mechanism could be considered an improvement over Apollo's. I haven't used Apollo but working with AppSync seems painless for now and it feels quite streamlined. Curious to know how someone who's used both would compare the two.

I'm just starting with GraphQL, but I don't understand the problem when he talks about GraphQL would load all data at once. As far as I understand: sure, you CAN do that, but you can do many smaller consecutive or parallel calls as well, can't you?
