Unrelated question kinda: Just had a nasty lightning storm. Should I turn off my breaker to prevent surges? Hottub is located inside sun room so not worried so much about a direct strike

Hi do you know why we have missing items like time and temp in the menu of our Balboa TP600? My husband try to adjust the setting temperature and since then we have this problem. We try to put the shut down the spa but does not resolve our problems. Also beside the temperature we have a T instead of C or F.

We have a Hot Springs Relay (2016) and it will not heat up. We have tested the heater resistance and it is acceptable. When we run the hot tub, the thermostat will kick on the heater, the heater will draw 16 amps @240v and the pump operates in 1st and 2nd stage moving water, however, no warm water come out of the jets. We jumpered the pressure switch and it did not change the outcome. Any ideas what we should try next?

Hi, i’m getting the HFL and LF code, sometimes dry code as well. I cleaned it and refilled it, fired it back up and all was normal. Turned the temperature down significantly cause i went away on holidays. Now i’m getting the codes described above. Already removed filters, refilled spa through the filter holes with a hose, opened the connections to the pumps in case it could’ve been an airlock but with no succes, i keep getting those errors. All the normal jets work except for the ones that have hot water output into the spa. The heater works as well since if i use my submersible pump with the output in the filter hole i can feel hot water coming through the hot water output jets and the error codes don’t come up again. Any idea what the problem could be?

What if you have the older style hot tub with the GFI on the front and have no heat? Can you by-pass the pressure switch or reset it somehow?

Hey Brian. Have you done a video on how to do a J68 reset or dip switch reset on these Sundance spas? That would be helpful for some people.

My outdoor hut tob breaker in the basement was on the whole winter but the outdoor pullout box connector was disconnected. When we put the disconnector back on, the hot tub didn't turn on. The tub doesn't have water in it, just in the feet area. Is that why? The console display is completely off and I hear no sound that it turned on. Any suggestions?

we have a jacuzzi j235 but some buttons do not do what they should do on the display, we have disconnected the power but unfortunately, is there another reset option

i got a hot spot tx and it wont go past 85, its 115 volt, this didnt fix it unfortunately, do you think its a bad heating element?

IL 0C, I have disconnected main breaker and the breaker right by the hot tub. I still get that error. this happened after i have replaced the flow switch. this is the third times that I had replaced the flow switch due to bromide particle stuck in the flow switch. so, I know how to replace flow switch. this error is new and happened right after changing flow switch. Sundance marine 880 model. any suggestion/ help / recommendations to help me fix this would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Masood

I have a 880 Marin and the status light on the outside is out. Will the reset maybe fix that? There are no error codes and the hot tub is running normal but I light that light to tell me everything is ok

I closed my hot tub down for the summer because it was just too hot to use. Today I cleaned it up, refilled, then flipped my breakers on...only getting a light on the panel but no display. Shut breakers off and back on still nothing. What could have happened during the summer when it was not even powered?

We put a new heater and control unit in. The water is cycling and we keep getting the HFL coming up. The flow is working fine. Now what can we do?
