I’m either glancing around frantically looking for an escape route, glaring at the closest loud person in disbelief that they can’t feel how disruptive they are to me, or staring furiously at the ground, almost hyperventilating, until I can get through the overwhelming situation.

When I go to my parents house it’s like an assault on my senses

My mum has the radio on in the kitchen, my dad who is hard of hearing has the tv on full blast and there are two different conversations going on 🤯

This is what it’s like in my head! I thought I was going crazy but after months of thinking and reflecting I think I might have adhd. I am going to take this video to my gp to show her!! I’ve been on anti depressants for over half of my life and I want to get to the root cause of my depression and anxiety. But I feel like a hypochondriac if I go to my doctor with all these examples of symptoms.

Is there an approach you would recommend when bringing this up with my family doctor?
