Social anxiety brings with it old wounds

Social anxiety is like a tornado, picking up rejection after rejection until the swirling storm overpowers your entire life. That is why it is helpful to revisit those rejections, real or perceived, and reframe your view of them.

That is exactly what I do in my upcoming memoir, Out of My Shell. The memoir bounces from past to present, with chapters in between where I meet with my younger selves and explore those skewed perceptions social anxiety told me were real.
