I maxed him out & it's worth it! He dished out absurd damage for a free 5 star, actually I prefer him over Changli.

What makes him interesting is that he still has a banner. So people who like him, we can pull for his resonance chain level.

You can also pull for his weapon. (Update: Which I luckily got)

NGL... This is kind of smart. He may be a free character but kuro can still gain SOME earnings from people wanting the resonance chain and weapon.

For those who don't know, the standard weapon being 16% less powerful than the signature means that the signature is 19% more powerful than the standard weapon
(If IWTL had chosen Abyss surges as the baseline 100%, you would see 119% on Verity Handle)

Aside from his 100k+ Nuke ULT, He is just insanely cracked with his Slow Debuffs from his Domain Expansion after ULT🔥Even bosses can be slowed

I think it's interesting that the 5 star weapons are so far ahead that the battle pass weapon that looks like it has perfect synergy with Xiangli Yao seems to be just worse than the 5 star standard gauntlets which seemingly have no synergy with him.
