0:30 Let's establish something quickly. Frieren has less than 1/3rd of the reviews on MAL and currently holds the top spot. Oshi no Ko at one point also had a fraction of the reviews and a similarly high rating, and yet it's not even in the top 10 on MAL anymore. Give Frieren a year, and another million or so reviews, and then we will have a better idea as to the staying power of the show.

Speaking from the perspective of someone who has watched FMAB multiple times at this point (at least 5) I think it is a better show BUT that's because it's finished airing everything, and Frieren is in its infancy. The characters in Frieren have a lot of room to grow, and I'm sure that given time, and given the same level of care that we saw given to S1, we will have a true contender for one of the best anime in history.
