Calcharo was weak from the start. Single unit damage, zero aoe. YAo has tons of AOE which immediately is better as a mele unit. For long range units single damage is understandable but calxharo is a sword user . that's just unforgivable. Yao will immediately replace him on my yinlin team . Pulling for his weapon and that's it.

A lot of people fail to see how power creeping Xiangli Yao's weapon is. Compare the standard broadblade for Calcharo and the sign weapon of Xiangli Yao. The liberation damage bonus gap is insane. Give Calcharo a weapon with the same stat and he will clap even stronger. Calcharo damage shines on liberation dmg

the best about xiangli yao is he has time freeze effect on his resonance skill. imma partner him up with rover spectro for fun team.

Calcharo doesn't have a dedicated weapon like Xiangli. So I think this is fair. I'd like to see a comparison between Lustrous razor calcharo and abyss surges xiangli.

calcharo puts out his best dmg in quickswap,
whereas Xiangli Yao is the exact opposite.
But in the end its the player who chooses what they want, they both exists cause they got differences between them, not so that one can be compared to the other.

Calcharo got interrupted twice resetting his combo while Xiangli Yao was not – thanks to doing more vibration damage.

Looks like Calcharo does more sustained damage while Xiangli Yao is easier to play with doing more vibration damage and doesn't have his combos interrupted
