Sooo, they created Calcharo, he was great but someone said hey its overhyped nerf him for the launch, then they found that they overnerf him causing that the negative sides are much bigger than positive for that character. Instead of trying to fix their fault they rather create a new character, give it for free so that everyone can just put Calcharo to rest and never use him again.
