Appreciate your efforts. Jane Elliott has been the only person I feel even comes close to checking and resolving racism. Her basic concept is simple. Literally put yourself in the other person's shoe. Her methods to achieve this is aspiring but tough. As a descendent of Slaves I have to admit tolerating racism would be easier if they would only get a life, culture and goals of their own and lose interest in destroying ours. Live and let live. Peace.

Interesting, I saw this book but didn't reach to buy it, many because I don't believe in White Stupidity, nor misinformation. Most people are comfortable with racism, so long as they benefit from it, while others are too uncomfortable to care about any benefits they gain from it. This last group is the change makers we need to heal the world. I may ultimately read the book, right now I am committed to another book. Thanks for the suggestion.

Meh... I'm always a bit conflicted on opinion pieces regarding such sensitive topics. It sounds like it concentrates too much on identity politics and not enough on the science, unfortunately. Because it's an important topic to confront. Honestly, you'll likely learn more about the construct of race by reading sociology-studies on it. And if you wanna know why there is no biological connection to "race", I'd refer you to the famous "human genome project" done in the early 2000s.

Sounds like a cop out. Thom’s shows have become so negative and lack solutions. Here is a solution; join the military ( like I did) get college paid for, next get your advance degree( like I did) and start a career. Thank me later.
