XE-1(XTrans1) for monochrome, XT-1(XTrans2) for color … JPGs via manual lenses. Like old days with Tri-X and Kodachrome… without the wait/$. 😎

Try shooting the XTrans II (X-T1 in my case) in monochrome with the ISO set at 4000 - that's a sweet spot for really beautiful, film like, black and white images.

I agree with being a generalist photographer, because working in several areas was what helped me during the pandemic, the movement decreased, but I continued to do product photography, while some colleagues who did and only do events were out of work.

i have an xt2 and use it for street with slr lenses adapted its amazingly discrete for street my recomendation is also tape up your logos

Thanks! I'm not sure Fuji sensors are made by Sony. They might be manufactured by Sony but as far as I know Fuji made their own sensors based on film and their long experience in that field. The output anyway is very different, especially in low light, the colours, the texture and the look are quite different. The latest version is obviously better overall and cleaner and I love my X-Pro3 and X100V and it still has character, something I didn't notice with Sony sensors that are closer, in my opinion, to Canon and perfect for video but kinda flat for stills. Now when I need inspiration I pick up my X-Pro1 and capture images in b&w or my X100 and I'll never get rid of these camera for the same reasons you mentioned. I really appreciate your videos, you nail what really matters so thanks again! Cheers!

Classic Chrome is also my fav and I think many Fuji shooters. A lot of the Fuji X Weekly recipes are just iterations built off CC so I'm sure you'll like them. It just gives you 7 more new options to play around with at a time on your camera outside of the built in standard ones. Anyways, I liked your video and subscribed to your channel!

X-T2 is more than enough to be discrete for street photography. I even used it with my XF 16-80mm on streets in my POV videos.

Thanks!!! I am thinking about selling my x-t100 and buying the old x-e1, I like the rangefinder style (EVF is in a tragic position on x-t100 for me) and simplicity. I can’t help but something is missing from images that x-t100 with the Bayer sensor produces, like it’s missing its soul or that good Juju. I don’t even use touch tilting screen, so what do you think? Should I sell it and buy x-e1?

I bought a Hasselblad/Fujifilm XPan to shoot panoramic film and went out today to shoot. I took along an inexpensive X-T1 w/adapted 24mm Nikon lens to shoot alongside it, so I would have some immediate shots from the day. Ended up not taking the XPan out of my bag. LOL. Looking up X-Pro 1s on eBay now (always regretted selling that one).
