Still on my X-T3. Which is also what drew me to this wonderful channel many moons ago.

XT3 is an all rounder, and im even happier because chris is like hte perfect teacher who makes videos dedicated for them, this makes it the perfect camera for beginners.

XT3 also had the nicest shutter sound. The shutter sound just sounded different, unique. Maybe this is not a big deal, but for me, it is and i loved it!

I learned how to shoot on the XT3, so I wholeheartedly agree. The handling and physical controls were crucial for learning and keeping me engaged in photography

I take your word on it, anyday. You are the leading expert on Fujifilm cameras.

I agree with you Chris. You also didn't mention the "feel" of the camera. My X-T3 feels in hand like a real camera. My X-T5 feels like lightweight plastic. The build quality and materials used on the X-T3 are just better than the X-T5.

I absolutely agree with you about the dials with photometry and drive being removed/changed. I miss both of them so much. Sure, I've got my workarounds, but those two dials really worked for me. I wish I still had my XT3 as a backup to my XT5 (which I love!).

Just a quick note to thank you for your generous content over the years. I’ve learned so much from your videos (just upgraded from X100v to X100vi). The answer to just about any question about setup, function, os shooting can be found in your well conceived and well produced videos. Deeply appreciate your work.

agree :) I bought mine in 2019 and will never sell it!
I took it around the world, on long-distance hikes, into snow and desert.
once it dies, I will frame it and hang it on a wall.
It's a gorgeous piece of art! beautiful photo-centric camera.
the battery grip is "glued" on my xt3, making it just perfect.

Happily married to the X-T2 here. Had a shutter replacement, the rear dial a little flimsy, but it's powerful like a batmobile.

The X-T4 beats the X-T3 in all components (big battery, IBIS stabilization, dual video recording simultaneously on two cards in VIDEO MODE, rotary screen - good for vlog, additional film simulations, etc.)
The X-T4 has the same classic design.
I also have an X-S20 camera, but my favorite is the X-T4

Thanks a lot for your view. After having used Fuji gear for more than 40 years, for me my favorite is the X-T5. Why? I started to use X gear with the X-T1 in 2014 and moved to the X-T5 in 2022 as soon as it came out. For me, it was a homecoming to my first Fujica cameras. Small light and easy to use. And I did not have to use a battery grip, which makes the camera heavier than necessary, to extend battery life. I did feel the same way about the optometry dial as you do. Furthermore, I hardly use video and thus my favorite is the X-T5. I can walk around on one battery all day long and take hundreds of pictures without tiring. That is what I wanted since the X-T1 on which I always had the battery grip for said reason.

I upgraded from the XT3 to the XT5 and have never regretted it. The IBIS is excellent and, despite some of the criticisms of the build quality, I actually like the feel of the XT5 better. As to the ports, I don’t do video so I could care less what’s under that little door. :)

Love my X-T2. Still use it regularly. But my X-T5 has enabled me to take handheld, low-light photos I never could before due to IBIS. That plus battery life are the real game-changers for me.

So glad I stumbled across your channel. I recently picked up an X-T3 and once you said about feeling the corners of the triangle, something fully clicked in my brain. This video coupled with the Bulb mode video have been absolute gold. Thank you

I'll tell you that I am so glad I bought my X-T3. I got it just after Fuji lowered the price to$999.00 that one year. I got mine in January of 2021, barely used with the warranty still. good. It had the 18-55, extra batteries(2 extra OEM and 2 third party), the Fuji grip extender(non battery), and everything still in the box and wrappers. I did a lot of research and shopping before buying. It came down to performance for the money for me. Also, I wanted a camera to take hiking. The X-T3 is a rugged machine that I just love.

I bought a X-T3 this year and absolutely love it. And I have learned a lot about it from this channel. Thank you!

Um, if you're big into film recipes (sort of the whole point of using Fujifilm cameras) the X-T3 has the big disadvantage of _not_ having white balance shift memory for all your custom C presets. It's a major pain having to set each white balance shift if you have the same white balance e.g. Auto for different presets.
That was fixed for cameras that started coming out just after like the X-Pro3, X-T4, X100V, etc.
