When Chicago restaurants like Gaijin charge $20 for some okonomiyaki, it's definitely worth making at home.

The Takoyaki looks awesome, I like the fact that you can pretty much stuff it with anything and it still looks like it'd be great

That is the Mitsuwa I go to. I love that place. It’s always such a treat. Book store, dessert store, food court, and grocery store.

This is an extremely good video passing on a lot of accurate information. I have lived in Okinawa for 35 years. This is accurate information.

Takoyaki has no business being as delicious and satisfying as it is.

I wasn’t going to watch this video because I’m not into Japanese food that much and it requires a lot of ingredients I wouldn’t otherwise buy. However, I thought your facial expression in the thumbnail photo is hilarious, so I watched it to support your channel. BTW, that French bread, ham and cheese sammich that you made earlier this year is constantly popping back into my consciousness and I’m going to get-r-done very soon!
Finally, please consider Italian and Greek street food. The fellow from Vincenzo’s Plate reviewed some Italian street food on his channel and it looked amazing. If you’re interested, I’ll find the video.

We make it at home occasionally but it is actually more fun at the restaurant. You can order the desired toppings without preparing them yourself and cook at your table with a grill top. Very much fun.

When I lived in Japan my two favorite meals were Tonkatsu style Ramen, and Osaka style Okonomiyaki. The Okonomiyaki is DEFINITELY worth making at home! And it's my go to Mother's Day present for my mom when I have nothing else planned! I definitely want to try making Takoyaki from home someday.

You can do Polish street food. Montrose Market is super close to Mitsuwa. Both of them are a 90 minute drive for me, but it's so worth it.

I also make a point to go to Tensuke also.

I made Takoyaki with some balled up, chilled pulled pork one time. It turned out pretty dope, but a taaaad too soggy inside. Nonetheless, my buzzed friends absolutely demolished them haha

Please try making your own udon noodles. Pro Home Cooks did a very good version of the noodles themselves that I make at least a few times a year.
