FYI - Another tip (for the Windows plugin version at least) is that CTRL+Clicking a knob resets it to default position, and CTRL+Clicking upward/downward zones toggles that zone on/off (i.e. bypasses it).

I wish I jumped on the OTT bandwagon along time ago. I had the xfer version for ages but was always kinda like meh, plugin for 15 year olds making wub wubs. Wrote it off and forgot it until last night I dicked around with it on my main output channel when mixing down a track and holy hell is this nice. Sometimes the hype around some things are warranted.

I put OTT on a whole DAW mix of mine, here and there. It's really interesting it can give a piece of music this urgent touch, it's like turning on the lights. But then I thought, this is too easy, this is cheating. lol

I thought, maybe OTT could be used to give me an inspiration to change a mix and instrumentation. Like re-creating the OTT-cheat-result lol whith different instruments and (standard-)effects. Like replacing a boring bass sound (that OTT turned great), with another bass sound that matches the OTT result.

What say you? 😎

It would of course be cool if you could share your Ableton presets in some format for the standalone plugin version. Maybe with screenshots or something :D It doesn't have to be 100% equivalent, just to see how you set up your presets and get your general ideas for the different use cases. Anyway, thanks for a really good quality video, appreciate it!
