Automating the depth knob works well for me. Can get very crispy at times. Love OTT and I think it works well on the lead vocal (only an opinion!).

great video! would suggest to use Gain staging and EQ with a compressor after to get a similar but cleaner result if we're talking about making something sound clear or come out stronger! (fun fact, OTT causes Phasing so be careful!)

also on another note Defiantly use the "Time" knob it will clean up the tails and help not over exaggerate the reverb. this especially helps with vocals <3
lastly the downward and upward knobs are very helpful to clean up the "tin" sound you can get from using OTT as well <3
