At first, I used dog treats and then I eventually used a dog toy to engage my dog in training. This video is meant for beginners looking for a way to start training their pit bull today! My last pitbull was 2 when I got him, and even though he was abused, he was house trained and had zero human aggression...and only a bit of dog aggression (that'sjust luck, becausethe stuff they did to him would make all of us aggressive).
Now I got a 12 week old. He's coming along, but man he needs work. It's been so long since I had a puppy that I forgot how much persistence it takes. Already re-discovered that taking away toys when I'm not seeing good behavior works quite well.
Loving these vids, man. I used to think of myself as "dog knowledgeable", then this little guy shows up and says, "bet you never seen this before!".
