I've been an animal behaviorist for some time and I like seeing this because it shows that you can grab an animal and correct them thank you for doing a proper demonstration for all the kerens and dumbasses out there who think they need to beat the s*** out of their dog to make them listen I'm glad we still got trainers like you

Have to also realize that this man is very calm and assertive. If this was done out of fear or anger, a dominant dog would absolutely turn that towards the human and challenge the dominant position.

i love dogs too. people get upset when you correct animals. they think you're being mean to the animal. then it just pisses me off😂

You really have to fight the authority of these dogs this way, sometimes it ‘appears’ mean to other people, but it is such a wonderful thing in the world when a pittbull ACCEPTS your authority over their own!

I love seeing this. My boyfriend, who has never owned dogs, was shocked to watch me correct my XL Bully this way as he had never even heard me raise my voice before. Its so important to establish you are the dominant one with big dogs. I have the sweetest Xl Bully and German Shepherds because they know I am in charge and will not let them get away with anything like this. I've never had a dog fight, and they are awesome dogs!

Same with horses, the lightest touch is best. Only escalate to this level or force WHEN NECESSARY, otherwise you're teaching them to require this level of correction, every time.

Perfect. No pain, but firm, calm, confident and exactly how it’s done. Been doing animal behavior (dogs/cats) for a decade now and have done this… works every time. Some dogs take a little extra time and other similar techniques; never fails though.
