These videos are always shown with already trained dogs…I want to see one where the dog never stops pulling right from the start lol I didn’t know leashes get loose

"start with a loose leash" Ha! The leash has NEVER been loose. He has pulled every instant!

I would love to see you do this with a dog that's actually pulling. This dog is already very well behaved.

I rather see this on a dog who's actually pulling though

My dog pulls constantly.
There is never any slack on his leash. He pulls in five different directions at the same time. Lol

I hate ' pros ' who say ' dont pull on the leash, have a calm leash ' yeah but if we are here its because our dog is a formule 1 and pull all time xd

I love it when you see a dog learning something in just a few minutes and keeping up the routine makes life so much easier. Yet some of us took on a rescue dog. We get frustrated and upset with the dog and start looking through training videos trying to find the one that works. Then you realise what you really took on with the rescue dog. For example, I have two rescue dogs, and walks on leash are painful. One dog walks incredibly slow and the other believes he's in a sled dog race. I say heel and the slower dog goes even slower. How slow, I'll explain. We get in the gate of the dog park, do two laps and the slow dog is only just ready to stop sniffing, pissing, eating grass and ready to head off. It's mortally painful. Both dogs won't change, they modify but stay the same. Corrections sometimes make the dogs worse, especially if they are new and have been bullied by humans.

These dogs are trained, untrained dogs would show this stuff works.

I recently bought my dog a 15' leash. It helps a lot. I can let him get some space from me when he's off sniffing and then when we start to walk again he comes back to heel position relatively easy because I let him do his thing.

Perfect timing! I'm a petsitter and have a st Bernard rescue. He is extremely strong and pulls all over. I was looking for dog training to add to my skills. Collar and leader!

Should be a video of a dog not trained already.

And what if a dog (husky) doesn’t let themselves have slack ? How are you able to apply slack if once you start walking again they pull? I’m very confused

Always in these guides as a dog is calm anyway. Sometimes make a video where you’re trying to get Toller to be pulling.

Thank you so much for this great info! I have another question.. whenever my friends or family members come over or even when I get home from being out my dog barks and barks looking like she has an attitude.. it becomes very annoying to everyone! How do I get her to stop? She is a very friendly dog but she gets super excited .. Please help!!!🐶

all these dog training channels have very well trained, pretty much service dogs for their videos hahaha i guarantee less that 5% of people watching these videos have dogs nearly as calm as these. i would just love to see them use a 10 week old puppy that they haven’t trained since birth lol obviously they have good tips which probably work well but people can’t relate

edit: by the way i was enjoying the video & the points that were being made. I really feel like I learned something when they were talking about the collars & which one to use in how to put it on your dog. I think what got me was when the guy was talking about not having tension in the leash and all I can think about is a dog pulling like it’s life depends on it and it’s owner who watched this video wishing their dog could just sit their lol
