TJ, I think keeping the Purple GT3 is the right call. It's way more unique, and it was from Sabrina too, so it's extra special. You have a bunch of other manual cars to fill that niche so I say keep the Purple PDK car.

997 all day long. It will hold value, or go up, much more than the 991’s will. Right size. More of a drivers car. Most iconic shape. 997 is a win all day long.

So my take…
You drive a lot to get to the places where you DRIVE. You also modify cars to suit your taste.

You need something you can drive in for an hour comfortably until you get to the place where you can light your pants on fire.

Get the 997 GT3. You are going to do wheels, tires, coil-overs, pads/rotors/fluids, exhaust, tune, etc plus any exterior stuff you want anyways…and you won’t feel bad doing it to a car that less monetary value.

And you can always gift the GT3 take-off parts to Kevin ;)

RS is good but you're going to enjoy modding a 997.1/.2 GT3 more and not feel like you're harming value. You can get a GT3 to act and perform like the RS: Straight cut gears, suspension, etc.
