At 40 My wife put me out on the streets… I ended up homeless In a place we’re I had no friends and family… I thought it was the end of the world… I’m 45 now and I gotta say in the last 5 years I went from homeless to Accomplishing more than I ever did in my life as a single man… it’s pretty lonely at the top tho

Being 40 not having a partner, family or friends is a hard life to live

Still single at 63. Never understood the concept of loneliness. I prefer my own company.

I’m 42 single and no kids. I’m not really lonely. A lot of people I know suffer from depression who are married with children. It’s all about how you think about life. In my case when I tell people I’m not married most tell me I’m lucky. When I tell people I have no kids. People tell me I’m lucky because I don’t have to deal with the cost and problems. Very few people make me feel bad for being single or older without children.
I lost a lot of friends and even some family. I found two hobbies (art and photography) and I am very welcome in that community.
My co-workers and neighbors like me. Sometimes I’m lonely but sometimes I feel lucky. That’s my life. 😊

The hardest part about being single at 40 is that you know it is over but you’re not quite ready to give up. At this point I’m so disappointed about life that I’m ready to end it. I really don’t want to be an old man who never met anyone. They say most relationships end so I fear going into one someday and then suffering a heart break I don’t think I could handle it at this age anymore.

I'm 40 and have never been married or had a relationship and I have no kids. I don't have a group of friends and really don't know how to socialize very well. I really am no more knowledgeable about meeting people and making friends than I was at 20.

Great video Tony I'm soon turning 41 and getting divorced after 16 years! I'm scared but excited about being alone and have both good/bad days thinking about this. Thanks again 👍

now one thing about being lonely and 40s is that health starts deteriorating and it is hard to endure life alone.

I am 45 been single since 2018 and counting. Being single sucks it’s not all cracked up to be. Women don’t like me and that’s fine it’s their loss. I am a great guy with a good life, works hard, works from home, former boy scout, a military family guy. I have no children. I don’t get it yes I will be single divorced for the rest of my life.

I don’t want to be used anymore

I am divorced 15 years married for a year.

I want to give up on love but it hurts as much as actually fixing it, so I stay in the middle suffering. I'm so tired.

I think it is accurate and logical to assume I have not much to offer, though. I'm boring, dull, autistic. I just want to be at peace with it to stop suffering for the rest of my life even if I find no one ever.

34 here never expecting to get into a relationship at this point and I'm ok with it. Find something that you enjoy doing and let it consume your life.

being 40 and single wouldn't have been a difficult thing to handle, unfortunately, my background and the society I come from make it worse as they make it seem that people especially women who aren't married by 40 have spiritual problems, Still hoping that one day I get to find my soul mate but whichever way I have chosen to live my life happy and fulfilled. I have chosen to continue to enjoy my singleness doing things to build and develop myself. No children, no problem, I can always adopt if that seems to be my last option
