3 Reasons Why We Converted a Sprinter Van (again)

Here’s a few reasons we chose the Mercedes Sprinter LWB High-Roof (again):

1. Big Interior Space means we can have everything we want in a campervan: a fixed bathroom, a queen size bed, a big kitchen with lots of bench space, 2 working spaces and TONS of storage.

2. Straighter walls make building a lot easier.

3. Mercedes Sprinters have a reputation for long-lasting performance and reliability, especially in high-km situations. They are built to handle rugged terrain and extended driving, making them ideal for off-grid adventures.

I love Mercedes, and I’m in America, but as I thought to do the same thing, a good friend said, “ Mercedes is cool, but if you’re traveling across America and break down, there’s not a lot of people who can work on it, but there’s a Ford or Chevy dealership in every small town. Made a lot of sense.

Damn. Managed to fit both a living space AND a whole bakery in the van? That's a great use of space!

Can't beat them. I work for post in vans. I have driven Toyota, Ford, Renault, Iveco and Mercedes. After 250, 000km most vans are showing wear and tear but the Mercedes feel brand new still.

For me personally (as a German) the sprinter isn‘t the way to go in terms of building a camper, cause of one reason … the fiat ducato (as well as the Citroen jumper and Peugeot boxer) got 9 cm more storage department from wall to wall, this makes beds possible where you can fully lay down across the car and not have to build it in length

He chose it because of straight lines, but I only see a lot of beautiful curves on that model.

Getting my van later this year! Very excited! Going for a ford transit though! For me it will work. Medium top long base. I believe the maintenance is cheaper than the Mercedes. I do love the look of sprinter’s though very pretty van! Love yalls build!

Don't know what it's like in Australia, but here in the US, the cost of repairing one of those vans makes it not worth the money if you can't buy it brand new. Maybe you have enough money to cover that, because you'll need it one day.
