This man created one of the most beautiful superheroes trilogy of all time, and most important, in this decade made of crappy Marvel and DC universes, he created a completely original story.
Marvel and DC have 80 years of comics, hundreds of stories, of characters, of different situations from which directors can take inspiration, but still their movies are pretty bad.
Shyamalan was able to create his own story from nothing.
He's genius, a great director, a great writer.
And yes, Glass is a masterpiece.

I didn’t even watch the video. Avatar the Last Airbender is cheeks. The happening sucked too.

I get he failed and succeeded later but it’s too inconsistent compared to Kubrick or Martin Scorsese

The Last Airbender is most part of the video.
SPOILER ALERT

I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually do think M Night is one the greatest directors of all time. He has weaknesses for sure that can't be ignored. But I feel like some audiences let those weaknesses blind them from seeing his strengths - which are very unique and notable strengths. His eye for blocking a scene, his ability to construct atmosphere, the way leans into the melodrama for the sake of intrigue, and most importantly; his imagination. He's my favorite filmmaker, and despite the fact that Avatar the Last Airbender is my all-time favorite TV show by far, I can still forgive him for how horrendous his adaptation was, and can still manage to see some of the film's positive qualities (namely Dev Patel's underrated performance as Zuko and the musical score).

We will never forget the great injustice that was done to avatar the last air bender

M Knight Shayamalan is such a bad director that The Last Airbender is his best movie, for the mere fact it's not a 2 hour setup for a weak Twilight Zone "payoff." (The 6th Sense was so predictable that I question if any audience member who was surprised by its ending was awake during any of it). You cannot change my mind.

Unbreakable is one of the best movies ever, but you're gonna say he's better than Spielberg, Carpenter, Waititi, Tarantino, Jackson, Wright, Burton, Gunn, Verhoeven, Lord & Miller, Scott, Favreau, and to a lesser extant Nolan, Kubrick, and Scorcese? I wouldn't personally go THAT far.

Personally while his movies have often been disappointing they are movies I can go back to and enjoy, the happening was terribly done but if you watch it as a comedy with some friends it’s amazing and his recent movies have definitely made up for his duds in my opinion, split the visit and even glass were all new and enjoyable films, he may not be the greatest director of all time but he also shouldn’t be defined by his mistakes, he has given me many memories that I am thankful for and I hope he continues to direct in the future

It was a bit hard to watch this but I made myself do it. I totally disagree he is the greatest of all time but I give him a lot of props for pushing through and making a comeback.

This is how Engineering students fill pages in Exams.
Lot of nonsense and in the end no conclusion.

the problem with sequels or directors picking up a franchise is that they dont put the franchise before themselves. a live action movie was a mistake and no respectful director should have agreed to making it.

He’s the best setup director, but another director should come in and change the ending and direct that part.
