Don’t just say, “It’s his fault because he didn’t call me or the date he took me on was lame.” You can attract great guys and change the patterns. You can get in control of the situation and begin winning him over.

Think about inviting him to do something that he’s never done before.

This reminds me of one of my clients who was a photographer. She had met a guy and he didn’t know a thing about photography, so she told me that she was worried that they’d have nothing in common. Instead of giving up on him, I told her to take him to a photography exhibition where she could show him her world and share what she was passionate about. She did, and he loved it. He was curious, he wanted to know more about her and her work, and she told me that they really bonded over such a fun moment spent together.

All you need to do is be confident, be yourself, and show him your biggest qualities. It’s all about being happy with yourself and winning him over by being confident in what you bring to the table!
