Men like to feel that women appreciate them and are not testing, manipulating and judging them. Sadia makes it sound like a battle and a power struggle. We just want to be loved .

The problem with this is that if you are in a relationship with someone, you'll expect that person to care for you and be truthful. Most men see the red flags and make their best efforts to ignore them, because they're supposed to trust their partner and protect them from outside threats. If instead, you want the man to always protect HIMSELF from YOUR tricks and schemes, then you don't want a relationship, you want to play checkers with him.

Also, wouldn't it be easier to just communicate? If you truly loved and cared for your partner you could just straight out tell him that you're worried that he's too naive and that could endanger him or the relationship in the future. But playing with your partner's mind (and taking advantage of his trust in you) sounds more fun, right? Except he will find out sooner or later. And once he does, the relationship will crumble.
