Guys. Sitting over here crying reading all your sweet comments. 😭 I was SO nervous about posting this because I know firsthand how hard it is to see moms stay home when you’re going back to work, and to choose to stay home when you see other moms working… So thank you for your understanding, your encouragement, your prayers and your willingness to share your own stories here!! You all mean so much more to me than you know ❤

“I am replaceable in the corporate world, but I am not replaceable at home” really hit hard for me❣️. Been struggling with the decision if I should leave my nursing job with having little kids, so it was nice to hear your point of view. God bless you in this season❣️

I had a feeling this was coming! I was working on my PhD and teaching at a major university. My first baby stole my heart, and our plan as a family changed dramatically! We don't have a ton of money with one modest income, but our kids have wonderful lives. They lack nothing important, but they gain a lot. ❤️

I'm a working mom and housewife. Things have been so difficult and hard on my mental health. My husband and I are working toward me leaving my job to be a SAHM. It's a very scary and difficult decision with so many uncertainties. I've been trying to find and connect with others who are working moms and desire to stay home so I really appreciate you sharing this.

I also made the decision this summer to leave my job as a teacher to stay home with my baby girl in the next school year. I love my job and my school family, but I know that being with my daughter is the best decision I could make. The school then offered me a part time position where I would come in for like an hour each day, so I feel like God blessed me with the best of both worlds.

Proud of you Beth! My mom was a lawyer and gone all the time, so when she had us she decided to quit and be a stay at home mom. I will forever be grateful for that and will always cherish the memories with my mom as a kid!

Congratulations! I felt the same way after my first baby. It took us 8 whole years to get to the point where I could stay home. But we kept trying, and praying that someday I could, and the Lord provided! I was home with my 3rd and 4th babies from the start and being pregnant and having a newborn without having to worry about work was AMAZING! The experience was night and day different and so much easier and better for me! I really don't think you'll regret this decision Beth and for all the mamas wanting to stay home but can't right now, keep it on your heart and God will provide when the time is right. Don't give up!

I’m only seven minutes in but resonate with everything so far! I was a chef turned software engineer until this march when I lost my job a couple days before we moved across the country & then got pregnant with our first just a few weeks after moving! I’ve always been a multi-job/entrepreneur type and never thought I would even think about being a stay at home mom and here I am, 21 weeks pregnant and I feel like I’m slowly changing into a completely different person…and I’m not mad about it. I’ve always been surrounded by friends who said that you’re selfish if you have kids and kids basically ruin your life…I can’t tell you how thankful I am to be on the opposite side of that thinking and so excited to watch our family grow and be there for our kids!💚

Hi Beth! So proud of your decision! I’m 20 years old, my mom did quit her job to take care of me and my little brother: it has not been easy for our family here in Italy, BUT DEFINETLY WORTH IT. I can promise you that the deep bond, the connection that creates after years spent together like that, has been an incredibile blessing for our family (that otherwise, without her choice, her great strengh and support wouldn’t have probably been so solid). My mom is my best friend, we have great communication, i know that i can talk to her about anything…i can’t imagine my life without her (and my family) by my side. As much as your beautiful children grow up, you will become an amazing team. Maybe it’s financially not so easy, but i can assure you (from a doughter’s prospettive) that it’s SUCH A BLESSING FOR THE FAMILY.

Sanding you and your wonderful family lots of love and blessing from Italy 💖💖💖

Wow congratulations! Currently 11 weeks pregnant and I have been a stay home wife since I quit my career this past spring. It was an adjustment, but I do not regret it one bit!

May God bless you and your journey as a new stay at home mom. You’ve given me a lot of guidance during pregnancy, and I pray the Lord gives you reward, which is the gift of raising your beautiful children in goodness and favor 🙏

Something I heard yesterday on an old video from focus on the family is "your worth is not in your work" and that gave me such peace for being a sahm instead of a physiotherapist.

I left my government job this jan to start my own work in business/part time work, but I still didn't have peace about it, and I believe God is currently showing me to leave the part time work aside and be fully into being a sahm.

Praying that everything goes well and wishing you guys only the best! As a new mama, I have so much mom-guilt for choosing to work than staying home. I finished grad school before starting a family and I also have career-guilt as well. I’m in a weird place where I’m trying to figure out where I’m meant to be.

Glad you found your why! God is good! :) ❤

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my YouTube channel 5 months ago about self development. Now I have 312 subs and almost > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.

By the way, my next video is about the great resignation because I’ll eventually be part of this population. :)

You’re right. Feminism has gotten really out of hand has become toxic and judgemental. I’ve come to hate it as it is now and have detached myself from it and live my life with God the way we want to x

Thank you for sharing this video. It’s so important to support women in whatever they choose to do for their families. Your children aren’t going to remember if you and your husband struggled a few months to pay some bills. They’re going to remember their mom being home with them and spending so much quality time with them.

I also built a marketing career from the ground up. I had so much experience under my belt and after I had my daughter, I dreaded going back. I quit and stayed home for a little bit. We lived well within our means for the first 5-6 months of her life. But because we needed my income as well, I had to figure something out and I decided to get my teaching certification so I can sort of have “the best of both worlds”. I will be off in the summer and on school breaks with my children, off on weekends (instead of attending corporate client events), off at 3pm instead of 5:30. And we got lucky and managed to get our daughter into a great church daycare right by our house. I’m grateful I got to spend so much time at home with our daughter, but I truly think this is what I was meant to do!

I resonate so much with this! Just did the same thing and had the same background and beliefs of corporate work and never saw myself preferring to be a stay at home mom and do my own business. But now that’s what I’m doing and it has brought soooo much peace. This video is just a confirmation for me that we are making the right decision. ❤️

I've said this before in my previous comments on your videos, but the season of life I am in is very similar to yours, and the videos you have been uploading lately have been resonating so much with me. Watching your videos is like sitting with a trusted friend and talking about the personal challenges I am currently going through as a new mom. God is using you to guide other women out there like myself, Beth. I am in awe of how in tune you are with the Holy Spirit's calling in your life and I love how you always bring the discussion back to God and what He is doing in you life ❤

I agonized over this decision as well… leaving a corporate job I had worked so hard for. But for many of the same reasons, God changed my heart and my values. Thanks for making this video. Definitely would have made me feel less alone! Was one of the hardest decisions postpartum for me.

Hi Beth! I feel like you are speaking my whole spirit right now. It was definitely not even a thought to me to go back to work after I had my son. I love being with him so much and couldn’t imagine not seeing him the majority of the day. Which is so funny because I always thought I would work forever and not even have kids. Now I have a 2 year old and 6 month old and it is the joy of my life to get to spend every day with them. I started a YouTube channel last fall and have been loving watching that grow (no where near the size of yours lol) but it’s lovely to know that it could hopefully one day invest more into my kiddos and family financially. Thank you so much for being so inspiring. I think you are going to continue to have a blast with those two beautiful babies!
