VALUE is created and achieved when an Enterprise uses resources responsibly and operates within acceptable parameters of risk.
SENIOR MANAGEMENT is responsible for the establishing the acceptable parameters of risk as well as the structure for shared decision-making and accountability.
In Environment of shared accountability, GOVERNANCE becomes a necessity.
GOVERNANCE is “the combination of PROCESSES and STRUCTURES implemented by the board to INFORM, DIRECT, MANAGE, and MONITOR the activities of the organization toward the achievement of its objectives.”
GOVERNANCE ensure that IT supports the strategies and objectives of the organization.
IT Governance establish relationship between Enterprise Governance and Corporate Governance.
