I would add that it is quite simple to calculate the exact value for the rotation of the wheel in radians. Since a full rotation of the wheel is 2pi rads, the formula is as follow:
2 * pi / (pi * D) where D is the diameter of the wheel.

Brilliant, always wondered how'd you'd done that with those cars. Any chance you could show how to do a full rig with steering the front wheels on the Z and with the local Z on steering wheels, suspension, etc? Thanks for the tutorial!

Thank you! I did all the settings just like you but I still had some issues. This was because I had moved my object to new location and not applied transform. Applying the all-transforms (ctrl+A, this resets the pivot point back to origin) and resetting the origin back to geometry did the trick. Hope this helps someone!

Hi Lech. I have a problem with motion blur. It blurs all the car with the wheels instead of only wheels, like on your animation. How did you achieve this - to blur only the wheels? Thanks.
