Today’s video is all about end stage renal disease pathophysiology for Nursing Students and NCLEX Review.

The kidneys are responsible for removing wastes from our bodies that are found in urine, which includes creatinine. End stage renal disease occurs when a patient experiences a complete or partial loss of kidney function.

We’re putting together these concepts covering end stage renal disease pathophysiology and the stages of chronic kidney disease.

You are such a good teacher. no one takes time in lectures to explain anything, yet they expect you to know everything.

Thank you nurse Mike if it wasn't for your program, I would have never been able to pass the NCLEX! This was my 2nd attempt and I used your lectures as a review. I had been outta of school for 9yrs! Your lectures help refresh my memory to tackle the qbank. With that I was able to the kill the beast thank you!

I have heard that sodium level will be low in CKD, because with the high amount of fluid, the sodium will be diluted in the blood, but at minute 9:50 you said that the sodium amount will be high. Could you please elaborate on that when you have some time? thanks

I'm confused with the diet on Low Phosphorus. NO dairy like milk, yogurt and pudding. But Phosphorus and Calcium have opposite relation, right?
