i almost died a few years back trying to help a kid surrounded by thugs as i went to tell those thugs to leave the kid alone i realized they turned their attention to me. The kid they were picking on ran away and i was facing these 5 thugs as i was fist fighting 3 guys the 4th had a baton i eventually got knocked out and the 5th person had a hammer and struck me 9 times in the skull to with my brain exposed and half my face crushed he had mashed my nose right off my face and broken jaw and my eye popped out of my skull but by the *GRACE OF GOD* i survived and went through some real hardship, but i heard Jesus calling my name to come back to him and so this past Sunday i got water baptized born again and now reading my way through the bible and i have never felt better.... it wasn't my time to go i survived so that i could be saved THANK YOU JESUS!

Kap when I gave my heart to Christ and got Baptized I came up out of the water and thought to myself hmmmm I don't feel any thing... and I pretty much went my own way... but GOD.. fast forward..40 years.. I am a strong Bible believing follower of Christ.. we're all different!

Hi all.
I asked my mum about what Kap said. 'if you're baptized and don't feel the peace of God, something is wrong with you.' and she said Don't let others dictate how God works. You can't work out how God will move or what he will do. That is such a wrong thing to say, especially to young Christians growing in their faith. God will work how *He* wants to work through you.

Pray, pray pray! Read your bible daily. My son was baptized a year ago. At first he was elated and felt connected. But soon afterward, he came under tremendous spiritual attack. Doubt resurfaced. He began to fall back into old habits. My son, like all Christians, has a mighty purpose and the adversary will stop at nothing to hold him away from Our Redeemer! Stand strong. Never quit. Stay fast in faith and the Holy Spirit will lead you thru! God bless Russel Brand and all who are new to the Lord!

I watch Russell Brand and others for political commentary. He has a very high IQ. He is not a Biblical Scholar. He's asking for spiritual advice from strangers. I suggested he study the Bible.

Baptism without salvation is for nothing. Salvation is the MUST! Baptism is acknowledgment publicly that you gave your life to Christ!

I grew up in a Christian family, but my parents never got me baptized. My father, God rest his soul, told me Jesus didnt get baptized till he was 30 and I should make the decision myself. Im now 34 and have been coming to Christ the past 2 years. I am finally ready to give my life to Christ and take the plunge!

The change that Jesus brings is not overnight. It’s a steady journey that requires persistence. We all fall short on our journey. God knows our heart though, as you steadily look for him, you will steadily find him. Prayers for Russell as he learns to walk with Christ. The wonders of God are always out there, always revealing their self to us. None of us never fully understand or know God, he is our omniscient creator that’s why we must lean on him and not our own understanding. Seek and you will find! 🙏🏻

Guys, we are all lucky to have gotten saved without being under the microscope of the world. I did not change instantly when I got saved. He has been into New Age for years. We do need to pray for Him to be transformed through the renewal of his mind. Russell has been going through changes for awhile. Let’s pray that he will work out his salvation through fear and trembling… like the rest of us do. And let us also pray that he has good mature Christians who will challenge him. I also noticed a lot of Christians guiding him towards scripture about the occult and stuff.

I don't know anyone who speaks like Russell, he speaks like he's been here for thousands of years. It's interesting. I'm glad 5 million subs get to see him with JESUS finally

He's still a baby Christian and hasn't looked deeply yet into why tarot cards, yoga and meditation are demonic.. but I have faith that he will learn and walk away from these new age activities very soon. Can't push him away when he's still learning!

dude i was still brain dead after i just came to the faith haha. now there are two categories, True believer and eventual tare. you will learn in time if someone is genuine but judging people right away directly after coming to Jesus is insanity. i accepted christ then took a bunch of shrooms and listened to the audio bible crying my eyes out the next night haha!! God teaches you in his divine timing and thats all i know. he also allows the tares to burn in the flames. ye shall know a tree by its fruits

Grace to all. When I first got baptized I was more receptive to manifestations of the Holy Spirit at the congregation, and in my lack of understanding, I went astray soon after. I have recently had a more gradual experience with coming back to the love of my savior. "All heavens rejoice when a sinner repents".
