Thank you for starting this series! The intro/backstory is great! It really got me in tune with the character and has me looking forward to his life's story!! :) I also had hoped that the AE would have had better hair; it still looks like straw. :( I wish I could hear the NPC's better without having you turned up too loud. :) I love the way you are playing; keeping on the quest more locally and not spreading yourself all over the map. Enjoying this so much!! I love the fact that you don't talk all the time, and I enjoy the recaps.

Loved the backstory, had a complete nerd gasm for adapting Vinland Saga’s back story in Elder Scrolls. Askeladd was definitely the best character in the show. And to anyone who hasn’t seen it, do your self a favor and watch it it’s getting a second season next year.

Askeladd is actually a Norwegian folk hero who started out as a poor farm boy, who ended up with a Princess, fame, glory, and riches by outmaneuvering his enemies!💖

Askeladd from Vinland Saga... A great choice by the way! The Reachmen sure do have Celtic influences and considering Askeladd's real name it fits even better into the story of Skyrim. I could have guessed that you'd choose a Reachmen character, you sure love those guys, Scott. And I do too now! :-D

I love actually seeing you playing. It’s amazing because you have never done it and you’re builds are amazing and the knowledge you have with the lore and entire game. So seeing you playing like the rest of us is almost nostalgic in it’s own way. I feel like this channel alone increased Skyrim’s popularity.

Ralof is undoubtedly the MVP of the intro sequence.

The way the VA softens in the first two, especially, really stand out. Here's this badass warrior who can't hide the reverence he has for his homeland and culture. I think my biggest problem with the Civil War is that he only plays a bit part the rest of the game, and only if you side with the Stormcloaks. Hadvar doesn't have a personality to speak of, so choosing between the two isn't difficult, regardless of which side I'm supporting in a given playthrough.

By far this is the most enjoyable Skyrim let’s play series I have watched so far. It’s nice not being bombarded with voice acting. I like the quietness of moments and letting the game speak to us. Great recaps! Definitely keeps us into the story where we might otherwise get lost.

Thank you for doing all the side quests you are, it seems like every other playthrough are just people doing the main quest and big guilds. It’s been extra cozy watching you play this playthrough.
