Grab the Honningbrew Mead off Gerdur, so when you come across the revelers, select "why have one when you can have two" in the speech selection option and they will give you the charmed necklace, a +25 to carry weight enchantment. If you keep the other bottle, you might come across them again, and they will give you another charmed necklace for disenchanting.

If you sell firewood to the innkeep at the Bannered Mare, you get your bed for free, forever. You can also take most, but not all of the items from the inn without stealing, including the wine bottle that the beggar wants.

I always want to try a different type of style, but it always devolves into me being a stealth archer, just so much fun.

There are a total of 12 chests in bleak falls barrow. Some hidden and some out in the open. In embershard mine there are a total of 3 chests. Also if you have the restoration spell turn undead you can go into the hall of the dead in white run and kill all but one of the skeletons in there and use the spell on it to level up restoration. There is also a draugr in the midden that you could level up restoration on. If you join the companions and become harbinger with a few quests you can then do the same follower and training trick with them that you did with Faendal. They have different skill training options and I believe they go up to level 75. The dawnguard chick Sorine also levels up archery to level 90. Then you can find Angi's camp and she can help level your archery skill as well. The Orc camps are a great place to get money with brawling with the Orc chief. Some of the chiefs can help you level up skills too. The khajiits caravans also offer skill training. Riften is a great place to level up speech as well. The riften prison guard, Maul, the gate guards, saphire. Oh and to save you a fist fight with Micheal in the bannered mare you can simply give a gold to a beggar and pass the persuade test with ease which also levels speech. There is also a speech book in the merchant shop, an alchemy book in arcadia's shop. I have more tips if anyone starting out for their first playthrough has questions. There are also tons and tons of ingredients hidden in helgen when you escape. Check the skeevers that have been covered in webs that are hanging up from the ceiling and you will get skeever tails. There is also a desiccated body that is hanging there as well that has loot. And you missed one skeleton when looting them. Right before you go through the tunnel there was a skeleton on the left on the floor that you can loot. In bleakfalls barrow there are also tons of skeever tails you can get and some glowing mushrooms.

For those wanting to play on Legendary difficulty just be aware that enemies scale harshly with your level, if you hyper level up with non combat skills (sneak, alchemy, blacksmithing etc) and neglect offensive skills like 1/2 handed/destruction and armor skills, you will become very soft and will start getting wrecked and one shot by enemies.

I recently started playing a new save and this is seriously very helpful. I have played the game multiple times for a long time, but I haver never played it so optimized lol

Keep in Mind, that equipping the PickAxe and hitting ores w/light attacks is way faster then clicking the mining button

Just started playing a few days ago. Realised I knew nothing and went through the bazillion guides here on YouTube. Your the only one that talks clearly, explains your choices and pointed out things like sword skill practise on poor old Matf.
Cheers.

I've just started my first play through of skyrim and this has been the most helpful video I've found. Thanks so much!

Save your skill books for your final ten levels of your skill line. I think the limit is six books per skill. So six skill level ups. But with one of the Black Books in Solsteim you can get that changed to two skill level ups per book. It takes nothing to level up in the early game. Don’t waste it in skill books.

If you equip the dagger and sneak behind Rolof you can get your sneak lvl 100 and gain around 15 levels within 20-25 mins before even opening the Belgian gate key

You don't have to brawl Mikael. Just give one coin to a beggar and you will almost always persuade him. And there are also at least two npcs in the beginning who you always persuade. One is whiterun guard and second one is Loreius (or something like that) who live on gis farm northeast from whiterun. He's part of one interesting sidequest named delayed burial. I think they all level up your speech

The mission picking and the locations to clear is helpful, i forget every time to go clear the bandit camps north of Whiterun.

Best heavy armor and wepons at lv1 in skyrim anniversary edition is the armor of the champions and their weapons are super powerful you can get it at lv 1 just go to the archery shop in whiterun and read the note on the counter you should start the quest remember to keep 1 full set lf imperial armor for tricking the dude into giving you the imperial version of the champion's armor
