A neighbor of mine owned a wolf shepherd. He was so sweet. In my town you can own everything from small house cats and dogs to lions and wolves. You can pretty much own any animal as long as you can take care of it, train it or keep it from biting people etc. the dog was so sweet and saved my life several times when I was little. Im 16 and when I was little I was an escape artist. You turn your back for a second and i was gone. That wolf-dog and my Rottweiler, chow chow, Akita, Labrador mix were the only things that kept me from being hit by cars. The owner would leave their gate open because the animal wouldn’t leave the yard unless it was trying to save a small animal or child. Him and my dog would take me home from my adventures around my neighborhood. They are both dead now.😔

I own a shepherd Doberman mix. He can be a handful, but he's amazing. He looks like a skinny short-haired german shepherd with bunny ears

German Shepard mixed with Dachshund (Dackel) can look very funny, others would maybe call it
a little bit ridiculous, if they inherit the Dackels legs. I have seen a few with a Shepards body on short,
stubby legs.

Years ago, I went with my neighbors to get their dog out of the pound. A guy walked in with a pitbull shepherd mix and it looked like a science project that ran a muck. Absolute freak show 🤣😂

The wolf-Shepard will destroy your furniture if it has a squeak. They think it is an animal and tear it apart trying to get to the animal. Favorite German Shepard crosses are Akita, or Rottweiler. Large dogs with huge protective instincts. Don’t think you can spank the kids with one in the house. Or that the kids can wrestle in the backyard.

I lived in Germany as a kid, and our neighbor had a German Shepherd that was impregnated by a wolf. I got a female out of the litter. An Awesome Dog!! Ridiculously Smart, and affectionate. Only issue was she Never stopped shedding. Ever. Lol!! But an absolutely Amazing breed
