I like to work out my rotator cuff muscles prior to my workout. I see and feel the stability in my shoulder complex during pushing and pulling movements.

I felt that look in the very beginning especially if you know you need to workout your chest but, you know your shoulder is gonna suffer for it.

Tucking in my elbows instead of flaring them out worked for me 👍. Also a good shoulder warm up before chest workout.

Generally speaking I think it's a combination of many things, for me it was an issue with serratus anterior not holding my shoulder blade tucked (winging) and weak rear delts causing tremendous pain in my shoulder when benching or doing overhead press. A few push-up-pluses and some face pulls later it was fixed.

I'm definitely going to do this! My intuition is telling me that this is perfect for my shoulder pain while pressing. I think I'll also try the band and one-sided weight with the overhead press 😁

I dunno if the music at the beginning is necessary or enhances in any way.

great video otherwise - this is something I struggle with a lot and will try this drill.
