Toyota Tacomas NOT SELLING!! NO One Wants a TURBO…

2024 Tacoma’s are struggling to sell. They are down 60% and it’s a new redesign for Toyota . A lot of people do not want the four-cylinder engine. It could have reliability issues and the vehicle is not made in Japan or America and the Tacoma is so much more expensive than what it used to be.

Got my blue crush loaded, 50k out the door . Got them to wipe off that 3k mark up oh yeah and that $1200 gap insurance.. I have a 3rd gen, this newbie 4th gen is smooth, powerful and all around better, except the gas tank 😂.
Everyone’s doing turbo. Not just Toyota. Second tacomas were never made in Japan. Parts are the assembled somewhere else. Like my 3rd gen was made in California. You’re talking about 4 runner made in Japan. Correction Texas lol.

Cheap parts you find on all Toyota vehicles. price of the same part is different on different vehicles. Maybe Lexus has different detail parts for a heck of a rise in price.

I've checked ever dealership in a 200 mile radius of my home three major cities and they have very few Tacoma's and 90% are SR5 TRD off roads are few and far between. So I find it hard to believe they are not selling

The backseat is not useable. The interior is really really cheap. The turbo engine is crap and won’t last. Should I go on because I can…..toyota you deserve to lose money on all your new truck and SUV lineup.

Sales are not down in here in Canada. At least 15 tacos in various trims at my dealership- all sold. Wish I could have bought mine 50 grand. No such luck but I still love mine. Just my 2 cents!

Doesn’t the Highlander have the same 2.4T engine? I haven’t heard of any issues with them. And they’ve been available for a few years now

Is it the turbo or the price? I’d bet on Toyota to make a turbo engine to last more the other manufacturers. I’ll buy a turbo truck if the price is right.
