I love learning to make things from scratch. They usually taste better than store bought and you know exactly what is in it. Also, I live an hour from the nearest grocery store so I can’t just run out to pick up something for a recipe. I don’t use condensed milk a lot but I’m glad to have it in my recipe book. I hear it’s good in coffee, so I might try it.
