I've never made my own sweetened condensed milk but I'm going to now ---- thank you thank you :) and the tip in regards to making the lid into your pouring spout - INGENIOUS !!!

I have made this with real milk but I could see how that could be amazing with powdered milk I will be trying this tomorrow! Thank you!

Wow! Thanks so much for sharing this! Only every so often do I need sweetened condensed milk, and I pretty much never have it on hand. But I always have sugar and powdered milk!

I`m thinking of making my own condensed milk as it`s not cheap too buy in the UK..But can I still turn the home made condensed milk in to caramel..like I would with a store brought tin. ? Thanks.
