In this episode I introduce the AQA Specification topic 1.12 Acids and Bases. We take a look at the definitions of acids and bases along with the terminology used to talk about reactions of Acids and Bases. We also cover Acid Dissociation for both Strong and Weak Acids, Ka Expressions and some common Acid Base reactions.

2:40 Hi, when we say "a high value of Ka" is that a value bigger than 1? Likewise would lower Ka imply <1? What if the value is zero? (if Kc > 1, we have more products formed. <1, we get more reactants formed yes?) Thanks. :))
