How to fix File Name is too long win8 very simple and easy 2014

In this video i will show you how to fix file name is too long and solve many problem just like can't play movie music,copy, Move,rename change etc many problem or just one solution.

Mostly people says I can't copy paste, transfer my files due to the file name being too long. I'm using a Windows 7 or 8 it is a simple solution is change the folder name.
TOO LONG of a file name,then provides to you i hope very unhelpful to you.

If Folder name (Path) is too long, you can create environment variable path in System Properties, whether one folder or file name is too long, the way is ok to proceed as per your idea. If Folder have numerous Sub folder how can I rename to everyone. For Example  if you had 10000 subfolder can you rename to each one. more over folder name is too long means with include of folder full path, do you cut 1000, 1000 separately to each other. if folder path is too long you can go with system variable path, which also you can do one by one folder only. the only way is there that is programmatically move with system variable path.

Well, that's overly obvious... in the case that you CAN rename. In the case that you can't rename should be when most people look to the interwebs for help.

I had this problem for a long time.
My friend recommended me Long Path Tool for fixing this.
I am skeptic with this king of tool but I was wrong.
This tool can do anything.

simply u can't be able to rename the file in the last folder itself - u have to go back to the very first folder (say if u have folder and sub-folder(1) and sub-folder(2) then the file), rename the sub-folder(1) - make it short as possible) and it works

For those who're unable to open a file in a sub-folder!!

You would have to rename parent folder and sub-parents (if any). It'd reduce the total number of characters, allowing you to rename the file which has longest name and was not opening previously. You can then rename the parent folder and sub-parent folders for convenience (after renaming thee file with longest name)

Thanks man helped me out on the first go. All the negative comments are due to the fact that you mention "simple rename it" which people assume means renaming the file name which cannot be done currently and they stop the video at that point. Had they watched it whole they would know you meant Folder name not File name.

Hey. Thanks for the video. Was stuck like for the better part of the day. Tried uninstalling the default program that opened a .gz file, which I had downloaded with that name, ... was all nothing. First time I experienced that. So helpful.

Long path error!
“Long path tool” is very helpful for this problem. You can solve this problem like copy, delete, long path files by using this tool.
I used to have similar problems too, but after using “long path tool” everything was solved. Try this software and you would be glad you did.
