A Cpt Pike show with Anson Mount would go straight to the top of my watch list.
Please make it so !

The Chemistry between Pike, Spock and Number One does not come around often if they don't make a Pike series they don't deserve to work on Star Trek.I hope that the people at cbs realize that.

They've to have a Captain Pike series because we've to see Captain Pike give to Captain James T Kirk and how Captain Kirk took command of the enterprise with Mr.spock for the first time

Considering how much CBS must have thrown at the Enterprise bridge set and the positive reaction from right across the often divided Star Trek fandom, to Anson Mount and co as Capt Pike and Crew CBS's management would have to be morons not to seriously consider giving Pike's a series, because he (and his Enterprise) was for me (a fan since TOS first aired in the UK in 1969) the highlight of ST-Disco series 2. That said we are talking film and television executives here and that usually means an accountant or moron with an agenda end up calling the shots. (Kathy Kennedy bollocks of Lucasfilm is a good example of the latter.)

Sounds entirely logical, as a certain science officer might say. However, I'm sure a lot more than just fan acceptance needs to be considered before a major TV series is greenlit. I am wondering, though, if the cancellation of the Star Trek movie franchise has given the TV folk a lot more freedom in what they want to do.

Their was a clear chemistry between the actors you have your "triumphirate" with Pike, No 1 and Spock. I personally loved Pike i absolutley loved the dry witty humour almost flirty No 1. But she still comes across as an officer thats good at her shit. I loved the young pre Kirk Spock. If the 3 actors who play the top 3 positions of the ship work so well together then get this show done.

@Trek Central OMG! I super hope this becomes reality. I mean CBS people would be fool not to take advantage of the Star Trek fans for Anson's portrait of Pike. I mean cone on! This would imply having Star Trek series all year long. 😁🤗🖖❤

Early in the development of TNG Jonathan Frakes was supposed to be the main hero, Patrick Stewart was able to take that mantle pretty quickly, the producers pivoted and ran with it. Hopefully, the current stewards Star Trek have the same good sense

The Cage with Captain Pike should be the beginning/pilot of Star Trek series until the studio (NBC) rejected it as being too cerebral. Then came TOS with a new captain after about 11 years of Pike commanding the Enterprise NCC1701. Now it's CBS opportunity to produce the 11 missing years of the voyage of the Enterprise 1701.

Everyone knows who Kirk is but not many who knows Christopher Pyke. CBS would be stupid to not make a Pyke series.

Pike and Spock have great chemistry together. That is main reason I want to see a spinoff series with these characters.

Personally, I would rather have Pike/Enterprise series more than a Discovery series at this point. The second season of Discovery seemed to both redeem the first season and wrap-up that series. Let's go with Pike.

Anson Mount gave life to a captain who was always there, but who we knew so poorly. He jumped into my list of amazing Star Trek captains immediately. I would love a ST: Pike show.

Stephen Amell is leaving ARROW next year. He was born to play Capt. Kirk but might be entertaining as a rising star on Pike's Enterprise, especially if like in the Kelvin movies Spock despised him.
