I dated a single mom for 1 year, with two kids, two different baby daddy. The baggage, the attitude, everything that came with it was to much. She was beautiful, silly, everything I’ve always wanted, just not kids. Never date single moms. You live and you learn ! It really is like doing crime that you didn’t commit!

I love her deeply! I’m not wanting another child. It can be so frigging complicated. Now I sit here feeling so much guilt over this.

I was with a single mum for 3 years, once things went abit paired shaped I was tossed aside like rubbish, it was double the heart break never seen the kid again, lots of awkward situations with the father etc it's not worth it don't do it

I agree. She is nice looking lady. Younger as well. But ...she have a child with other man. It's better to concentrate to look for another option

Without exaggeration, I could easily think of 100 reasons not to date single mothers. However the first two are all that matters: 1. Relationships are inherently difficult and there is no reason to make them more difficult by adding someone else's children to it. 2. I want to have my own family and have no reason to debate that with anyone who may have a problem with it.

I’ve dated single moms more than once, and it was a mistake every time. You instantly pick up responsibility for kids you didn’t make, no time to enjoy time with the girl, and when they upgrade (hypergamy is their way of life) it hurts that much more if you actually connected with kids. It feels good to be a dad person. Now I’m terrified of ever having my own kids because I don’t want have them taken away.
