I dated a single mother once. She cheated on me and left me for a guy who ended up abusing her and her children. After she was able to get that guy out the house and arrested she tried to come back to me. Saying her kids were hungry, she had no money, ect, ect.

I said good luck with all of that.

I realized when I was a young child, that I would NEVER date a single mother. I was raised by a single mother. The amount of disdain I felt for any man she dated (through no fault of their own) was very strong. I wanted MY father in my life.

I made that sacrifice to take my Ex as a package deal, I did a whole lot for her and she still left me for her loser baby daddy lol…Cus there will always be that deep imprint no matter how much shit she talks about him or claims how “toxic” he is or was…Ain’t nothing you do for her or her kids will amount to the mere presence of her babydaddy…Also all that baggage that comes along is forreal!! Yup! I lived this nightmare. Dated then married a mom and raised the kid from 2yrs old til she was in her 20’s. Put the kid through college and paid for apartment, clothes, car, etc etc. The mom cheated (I’m sure more than once), we divorced the the daughter turned on me!! Crazy!!!
They cost me $100s of thousands. Drained 1/2 my 401k and had to sell my beautiful home. NEVER AGAIN!!
