Eyewitness News coverage of the execution of serial killer Ted Bundy in 1989.

Bundy mercilessly and viciously kidnapped, raped and killed dozens of innocent women across the United States in the 1970s in a trail of terror that took him from the Pacific Northwest to Florida.

Days before his 1989 death by electrocution, Bundy confessed to killing 30 women in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Florida between 1973 and 1978, but authorities believe it’s possible that there were many more.

Bundy's former girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall and her daughter Molly Kendall sat down with ABC News’ Amy Robach for a two-hour “20/20” that will air on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 9 p.m. ET.

And women sent him love letters while in prison, he killed 30 females, including a 12 year old girl! You have to be crazy to fall in love with him.

After hearing him talk… I can see how you could fall for his act without knowing him

" When I killed someone I felt an enormous amount of guilt and remorse I still did it again and again."

The chair was too good for Bundy. They should've put him through what he put all of his victims through.

He said he felt guilt every time but he still continued to do it more and more

He was a classic psychopath. With total confidence in himself. He felt he was was superior to the rest of us "insects". And too smart to get caught. But then he got caught. And whined that "the Devil and Playboy magazine" made him do it.

The man was a monster, no doubt. But singing and cheering outside prison, is very strange behaviour to me, regardless.

its actually so intriguing the fact that he played a persona up until the very end. he was trying to gain sympathy from so many people obviously and the fact that he never let his guard down even in his last moments it really shows how sly he really was and that's how he got his victims to trust him first and the fact that he made eye contact he was a monster no doubt, but an extremely smart one.

keep in mind that bundy could've taken a plea deal which would've seen him jailed for life in an earlier trial and he opted not to take it due to his ego and pride.

Ted Bundy: Kills 20 people, all in brutal ways.
Also Ted Bundy: "The porno mag made me do this."

Closing his eyes while admitting that he feels guilt remorse. He feels nothing.

Amazing how he didnt want to die, he blame any and everything on his crimes. He got out the prison cell and went back on a rampage, he was bent on killing. At his sentence the judge told him he was the all American guy and praised his character. Ted Bundy should be an example to everyone to know that evil comes in many shades and colors.

Thinking about him doing that to woman gives me chills. I'm so glad they caught him so he doesn't hurt any more people.
