What a garage man!😍 I wonder if you could only have one car for everything (GR86 aside) what would it be? Type R/ Elantra N maybe?

Do you have a video where you talk about living in vegas? How are the driving roads over there? Looking for alternatives to california to be a car enthusiast.

Should have done the Goodyear tires with the sport suspension. I did that on mine. I feel like the cup 2 tires are too much for the street.

These cars are so beautiful and they nailed it on the interior. I feel like they really missed the mark on the powertrain - the car could be so much more with a few tweaks there. The car is so much slower than it should be for 400hp and 3200 lbs. It does 100-200 kmh in the same time that the manual cayman GTS goes 0-200 kmh, and that car has 394 hp with the same weight (~13 seconds for both). It’s not all about straight line speed, but the cars are in totally different leagues when it comes to performance. It just doesn’t perform like 400 hp should. Then you have a clunky gearbox that’s reluctant to shift quickly. And a low redline that cuts power right when the engine feels its best. I feel like elements of the design process were rushed and hold back what could be an iconic farewell tour from an amazing British carmaker.

You can actually adjust front camber and caster quite a bit. Most shops don't know it, but the lower front arm has two adjustment points both the front and the back of the joints can be adjusted. The rear one is kinda hidden, you will have to look at the service manual to see exactly how to adjust that. There is a forum thread out there where someone posted a screenshot the service manual showing how to adjust the lower constrol arm.

"Feels special even when driving slow" - that's when you know you have a great car!

Great car! I recently got a Porsche 718 Spyder because I wanted a convertible. I had the original Miata years ago. Put 122K fun miles on it. I had a 1996 NSX also, interestingly :-)

I hope to buy an Emira after I pay off my house in a few years, or maybe the Evora GT if it's a lot cheaper by then. My friend is living half time in Vegas in the arts district and thinks he saw your car. He hasn't taken his car from his other house in Oregon to Vegas yet but it's a 400hp s2000. My supercharged 2013 BRZ will have to do until the Emira is possible.

Great content. Didn't know about the LR folding mirror trick - that's gonna come in handy for me in the future. Thanks!

Its true. The ND drives and feels like an NA. I just received my ND3 and my first time behind the wheel of an ND. The power difference doesn't feel dramatic powerful they still have the exact same playful character. Idunno if i should be disappointed or not only because the NA is so so much more affordable but if you got the means and budget for a ND then more power to you lol i havent soak everything in just yet just on day 1 with the ND3 😅

I have to admit, it's kind of satisfying to see reference to the "supercharger bypass valve" after being called pedantic. :)

Nice update!f the options for camber adjustment end up being limited then possibly anti -sway bar options.

Only 310 of torque, kind of low for that money.

How would you compare this to the gr86 in terms of raw driving. I'm looking for a weekend car similar to the gr86 but more luxury. I test drove the Supra and felt like I was driving a brick. Do you get that same feeling when driving the lotus as the 86.
