Good luck on your debt free journey! The starting numbers can be intimidating, but each month you're a little better off. I'm guessing the 25K is student loan? I'd make sure you make enough payment on that one to make all the interest occurred that month plus$20-30 at least. (just so it doesn't grow more). Keep at it and you'll have this knocked out in not time and you'll be living a better life for it....

Are you on a strict rule to never use credit again? Think of all the “stuff” on these cards that you still have yet to pay for. You need to get this behind you. Imagine saving all this money instead of paying for stuff you bought months/years ago. You need to focus on retirement, which includes a mortgage-free home. These are things I should have taken into account in my 30s. You don’t need the stuff. 🙂

@$8300/ 5 months is @$1660/ month balance reduction. NOT now, but when the other two 0%i nterest loans are paid, you might want to explore a 0% interest balance transfer of some or all of Loan #2.
