I get that happening 2 me sometimes. It's horrible. Feel totally helpless.

I used to have sleep paralysis quite often. My tip for it, is to (cliche alert) remain calm. Close your eyes. Try to move the fingers on your dominant hand first. Then the entire hand. Then the arm. By the time you could move your arm, your body should have "fully woken up". If not, pinch yourself real hard

So far it has happended twice in my 2 decades of living.
First time wasn't so bad. I just couldn't move and I was lying on my side, felt like someone was spooning me. I just decided to go back to sleep.

Second time is when shit hit the fan. I was sleeping on my back. Suddenly I felt a presence to the left of me. A tall thin lady screamed in my face. Her mouth was wide open, completely distorted. In the process of trying to scream my tongue was able to move and my whole body got unfrozen.

I slept with the light on for 2 days after that.

This happens often. My head is always my first thing I get to move. I also have to tell myself to breath cause I can't feel myself breathing

I've been looking for a video on this channel about this. Heard so many different stories about it as its occurred to me once when I was around 9-10 years old. Its scary, you feel helpless but ends so quickly.

I constantly have sleep paralysis episodes especially when I fall asleep midday. A few times I’ve dreamed of a pigeon walking all over my body and I’m unable to move. Sometimes I’m walking continuously in a crowd unable to stop or even talk. The most helpless I’ve felt is when I dreamt of a bus crash. I could feel the heat of the fires and the suffocation and my heart beating. I woke up wrapped in a thick blanket 💀

This happened to me multiple times when I was a teen. I could hear my mom and sister talking in the house but couldn't move or talk. I'd be screaming for help but no sound comes out. It's absolutely terrifying.

Yeah. If you ever experience sleep paralysis, close your eyes tight until your body wakes up

I get sleep paralysis from time to time. There was a point I'd get them almost daily even when I took a nap. But I dont really get panicked or scared though, kinda just "ahh this shit again". A few days ago, I got it again, felt like there were some "ghosts" in the room with me and I literally tried to move my hands to flip them off 😂

This happens to me sometimes but what’s scary is that when I first wake up and I can’t move, I can’t breath too. Then it feels really scary and every time it happens to me I become scared of sleeping for a few days

This happens to me, and it is always when my dream is terrible, a nightmare. And I can feel and partially see my room, but the dream normally is what i see, and my eyes feel crazy heavy, but like if a light is on, i can see the light shining through the dream. it is creepy because i experience the dream but can also think and have inner-thoughts while doing it

I experience this quite a lot actually. I already have a panic disorder, they don’t go well together.
