The problem with iodinised salt is that it usually comes as standard table salt. Which you don't want because it's stripped from useful minerals using toxic chemicals.

I've been having this issue that scars just don't seem to fully heal on me. After ketogenic diet that improved. Now after one full year of Lugal's iodine supplementation, it improved even more. Still there, but improved.

🤔 I used to get serious shrimp 🍤 cravings in high school & College, so much so I’d run to the 7/11 in the middle of the night and eat it out of the can… I just thought it was weird until a nutritionist told me it must have been a deficiency. Thanks for the rest of the story 👏🏻💕🙏🏻

I do Terry Naturally, Tri-Iodine 12.5 with Tyrosine, selenium, zinc, B complex and C. I feel great and was able to stop taking Synthroid that I was on for decades.
I may switch to the 3 mg version.

3 mgs iodine on alternate days has transformed my mental lethargy and procrastination. I've also thrown out Fluoride toothpaste and only drink distilled water, thanks for the tip on taking it early in the day.

I'm a little confused, you said that you are lowering/revising your suggested amount to avoid iodine toxicity, but then you give a limit of 1 milligram which is 1, 000 mcg's. Which is Much higher than 50mcg's

I’d love to see a video focusing on nootropics that are beneficial for long-term brain health, rather than just quick hits that provide a temporary boost without leaving any lasting improvement. For example, DHA is great for supporting cognitive health over time, while something like caffeine gives immediate energy but doesn't really contribute to long-term brain function. I think a deeper dive into nootropics that help maintain and enhance cognitive abilities in the long run would be really valuable!

I really wish, as a TBI (moderate to severe) victim, who is now naturally low on GABA - and MANY diagnoses because of that and TBI, as much as I know about psychopharmacology there is still things I wish I could ask. Unfortunately I am 34, on Medicaid while I await disability so I could never afford to pay for your time. I just wish I could have a brief email exchange, but don't think I can. My TBI has me in a group home, so nootropics and supplements are allowed. Just need some pointers. Absolutely love and admire your work!

Iodized salt is a folly. There's hardly enough to make a dent in deficiency, AND the iodine begins to dissipate within 1 week of opening the container. Better to take lugols, especially because it contains two kinds of iodine. Some cells need one kind, and some cells need the other kind. If supplementing makes you feel unwell, start very slowly, because the bad feeling is usually caused from fluoride, bromide, & chlorine dumping off the iodine receptor sites, which can be too hard on the body if done too quickly. Start at 1 drop per week if necessary and slowly increase. Dr. Brownstein has great info in this.

I put two drops on my wrist about every other day. When I test my iodine levels they are perfect so I know the absorption is happening. Ive used lugol's 5% for about 20 yrs this way.
