Struggling with Meth or Adderall addiction? Give us a call 24/7: (866)806-0741

Let's talk about Adderall first. Adderall is a prescribed stimulant medication to help people who have ADD and ADHD focus better. One major concern with Adderall being prescribed by a doctor is the appropriate diagnosis in the first place. Unfortunately, we have seen many cases of Adderall being falsely prescribed and can be an early onset that leads towards Crystal Meth use.

Crystal Meth has been around on the street for decades now. It is a stimulant as well that can be injected, smoked, nasally snorted, or eaten. While the effects of Crystal Meth are initially a rush of energy and focus, it quickly takes over and deteriorates your mind and body.

If you would like to get help for yourself or a loved one for Crystal Meth or Adderall, please call us at: (866)806-0741

“Thinking of 500 things and doing 500 things”
ADHD/ ADD is actually more like “thinking of 500 things, forgetting them after 2 minutes, and doing only one or none at all”

Not everyone loses all their morals when addicted to crystal meth/ice, I must admit I was brought up with strong morals/values, I smoked ice everyday for at least 5yrs & smoked around 2-3 times per week for around 5yrs before using everyday. I never stole or abused anyone, I worked, payed my bills, was a great mum, payed for my kids private school fees for 18yrs etc. The only thing I did was kept my drug use a secret from my family & friends. I stopped using 2yrs ago when I could no longer afford it, I do still miss it as I no longer have the energy & motivation it gave me. I am proof not all addicts are bad, some addicts can remain good functional people. I started using occasionally as a recreational party drug, then as I got older with more responsibility & worked around 50hrs per week plus had two children to care for life gets hetic, I didn't have enough energy to do everything I needed to do so then started using abit for energy, this continued for a few years but drugs never came first for me my family always came first. Then tragedy struck my family when my husband died from cancer, to cope I started using more & more til I stopped working and no longer have much money. Please don't assume all addicts are the same because they're not.

so as respectful as possible.. Came here for information, instead I get (quote) "What is in Crystal Meth? Shoot, I don't even know man, I don't even want to know." Well then maybe you shouldn't be making a comprehensive analysis video comparing the two substances. not trying to bash, just being honest.

I’ve been clean over 10 years now. It was always discussed back in the day that good crystal had a very calming effect. It also made me emotionally detached from everything. My dog died in front of me and it didn’t phase me when I was high. I loved that dog like a child. It hit me like a brick when I started coming down though. That was a revelation to me on how that stuff was affecting me at the time...truly one of the most evil substances on earth.

Calmness does not equal attentiveness. I think you misunderstand how ADHD works. Not everyone becomes hyperactive and even if they do, the objective is not to calm them down, its to make them focus. They are not 'hyper' because of excess energy; they are hyper because they are distracted by far more stimulating things going on in their enviroment or their mind. I am not so sure Aderall is such a good treatment due to its potency and potential for abuse, but a good ADHD med is not ment to calm to reinforce focus, its ment to stimulate to reinforce focus.

I have ADD and Adderall literally helped me learn algebra lol. I do think ADD is over diagnosed though and is often falsely disgnosed. Kids don't pay attention in school for a variety of reasons so immediately assuming its a mental disorder is a mistake alot of people seem to make. I'm not an expert though thats just my theory.

Adderall helps me tremendously though the side effects can be nasty as i found out, have to alter your diet to replace nutrients and dopamine depletion symptoms, but the ability to finally focus changed my life, there is no doubt that many aren't using it for medicinal purposes however

I’m an 18 year old meth addict, I was given ritilan by the time I was 3 and ended up following through with crystal meth when my scrip went away. Such a wolf in sheep’s clothing for me.

Gotta disagree that meth makes you loose your morals and make you look like a zombie. It can, but I know people who've used it for years and you wouldn't know it by looking at them. They may get super paranoid at times but they still have strong morals. Not trying to defend it's use, I know the horrible effects it can have on one's life, just wanted to shed light on the stereotype.

ADHD patient here! My Adderall literally puts me to sleep. I take it as prescribed once in the morning. By 1pm I am actually struggling to stay awake. It doesn't give me energy AT ALL. But it has allowed me to focus and complete projects that I have never been able to.
I used to be all over the place and forgetful about everything!! I couldn't even read a book because I would start fidgeting and get distracted about other things. I could actually be reading the words of the paragraph while thinking about what I'm going to do for dinner.
Then I would have to go back and read the paragraph again to grasp the concept of what it said. Sometimes I had to do this 3 or 4 times. I suffered my entire childhood with ADHD and my father didn't believe in giving the medicine to me instead he ""fixed me with a belt and a one hitter of weed"". So I grew up believing that ADHD was bad and never got the help I needed and ended up never finishing college, never being able to stay at a job for long because I would lose interest, and just really screwed a lot of my life away because I lived untreated for so long. My Adderall has literally helped me for once see life with clarity and now I want to complete all of my goals before I'm too old. It's bittersweet. Because this could have worked out so much differently for me if
I would have been given treatment as a child instead of abuse. I want people to please stop giving stimulants like Adderall a bad If you don't have ADHD you don't understand just how lucky you are. So please if you're chasing a high, think about that first.
I hope that helps someone to understand how amazing this medication can be for those of us who actually benefit from it.

I take adderall and it makes me able not to change my music every dang second or click off and watch something I literally am so bored due to lack of dopamine. So when I take the Adderall my brain does not get the urges to do that stuff since I'm satisfied and relaxed. It never gives me energy and I could easily sleep on it. But one thing I love as well is I have depression and Adhd so when I take the Adderall it helps me focus plus boosts my mood a lot higher. And it feels really good. I have severe adhd though

I have ADHD more of an ADD because my hyperactivity is in my brain, if I’m off meds I’m thinking a hundred miles per minute and I can’t stay focused on one activity, and I don’t want to do chores because it’s too much and it’s constant and it’s boring, I know that sounds so dumb but I literally can’t bring myself to get up and go do it. When I’m on adderall I’m able to get everything I have to do done and then some, because I’m focused on the task and I’m not thinking too much about it. I recently went through a rough time because the amount I was on was not helping me at all, I would lay in bed and sleep for the majority of the day, I was depressed and felt like crap, but as soon as my dr changed my meds I was up and getting things done.
Everyone is different but in my case I don’t feel high on adderall, I just feel energized and I feel like my mind just shuts down and I get done what I have to get done without procrastinating and feeling sluggish. Also I don’t get irritable by the smallest thing.

I've been taking Adderall now since 2014 and I only take 40 mg a days. I would say it has dramatically helped me in every step of my life. I don't have anything negative to say about it.

when i have taken adderall i usually calm down a good bit and i feel pretty focused. actually my mind is constantly racing about many different things all day. there has been times i have taken it and i fell asleep when it kicked in. it does make me feel more happy and stable but i dont like how it sometimes makes me smell sweaty and idk, i just dont really like stimulants, i wouldnt want to take adderall daily. i dont really like anything other then caffeine. it just makes me feel better. i can also take like 300 mg of caffeine and head to bed. but i was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when i went to a doctor. i subed to you towards the end of the video. i usually hate this addiction stuff but i will sit and listen to someone that has been through it. i used to be addicted to opiates and consolers and rehab just pissed me off. i respect anyone who can beat addiction and then go help others get out of that dark place, those are the ones that can truly help you, not some dude with a degree that has never even tried drugs before.

People who don’t understand drugs talking about drugs it hilarious, the problem where people graduate from an oxy addiction to heroin developed a tolerance which happens just from using opioids like prescription pain killers often barely are considered abusing drugs but they still develop this tolerance that when fed usually leads to heroin as the next drug, Adderall is very different because it’s taken at doses that don’t even get you high and to go from Adderall to meth you have to be downing like 10 15mg pills a day until you don’t feel anything from them and try meth and get addicted, people don’t go from Adderall to meth, most people don’t use Adderall in a dangerous way, Adderall is safe and imporves the lives of millions

They are similar, which is why they are both effective and approved treatments for ADHD.

My husband is addicted to Adderall. He does NOT have adhd. He runs out in two weeks, then gets stimulant pills off the streets until he can refill. His anger and rage is insane. He becomes extremely verbally and emotionally abusive. I've tried to get him to get clean for almost a decade. Now I'm just scared he's going to die. He's 46. 😢

Thank you for your content and I appreciate your expertise and the information you've shared about Adderall being strictly prescribed for ADHD and ADD.

However, it's essential to highlight that while Adderall is primarily approved for these conditions, it is sometimes prescribed off-label for other medical conditions following a rigorous risk-benefit analysis by a healthcare provider. For example, I am prescribed Adderall for Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD) under the close supervision of my psychiatrist.

Off-label prescribing is a common and legitimate practice in medicine, often based on substantial clinical evidence, even if the medication has not received regulatory approval for that specific use. This is especially true for conditions like TRD, where patients have failed to respond to standard treatment options and may need alternative therapeutic approaches.

I believe it's crucial for healthcare professionals and the public to be informed about the nuanced ways medications like Adderall can be used, always under appropriate medical supervision. Open dialogue about these practices helps ensure better patient care and broadens our understanding of medication utility beyond their primary approved indications.

Thank you for your time and for sharing your medical insights.

Best regards,

Falco
