I went from adderall to dexedrine (Zenzedi) from what I experienced Zenzedi feels so much better than adderall. Desoxyn though seems like the rarest legal stim you can get.

I find that adderall increases the effects of caffeine and love drinking coffee 20 minutes after taking a dose

I've been struggling for a long time with addiction as well as ADHD. I have in the recent few years been able to be in control of my consumption. I am on 45mg of Adderall daily. 25xr in the morning and 20 mg IR at noon. I don't get the focus I originally got back in the 7th grade from Adderall. I've used illegal meth since the age of 16 or 17, and just barely quit daily use around two years ago and have only had one or two very small meth relapses. I think that Desoxyn could work wonders for people in control of their lives, but possibly destroy others. That's not to say that some people may really need this such as myself. Thank God for medicine!!!

I'm a recovering heroin/meth addict. I have so many issues. The reality is is that I'm the real mcoy of a junkie and I know I couldn't mange being on any mind altering substance. I feel hopeless sometimes. Suicide seemed like a good option for awhile. It's hard to cope with life on a daily basis. My kids are what keep me sober and pushing.

I agree with the anxiousness i Attention Deficit and been on Adderall XR for 31 years and on top of that I'm a Correctional Officer so I know the feeling of being anxious. And I read where Desoxyn isn't covered by insurance or Medicare and it is pricey. Thank you for this video it's nice to see that I'm not alone in fight with Attention Deficit.

Desoxyn a second line treatment for ADHD, its sertonergic release is far higher than Adderall that’s for sure. We’re talking a 350% serotonin release with Methylamphetamines vs Dextroamphetamines mere 60% release. This gives Desoxyn a unique quality, MANIA big time, it feels like a light MDMA roll which standard amphetamine lacks. That being said, Desoxyn has a lot less peripheral nervous system side effects due to its weaker norepinephrine release, less adrenaline less body load, a lower heart rate essentially which benefits those with a history of heart disease and or tachycardia. Finally due to the molecule existing in a far more oil based lipid-fat soluble form it does indeed blow through the blood brain barrier like an absolute truck, amphetamine does aswell, but it’s far less efficient at getting the job done vs 100% pure grade pharmaceutical methamphetamines. On a chemical/pharmacological level it is superior to amphetamine in many regards but due to that sertonergic release I mentioned earlier it can be neurotoxic above 15-20 milligrams, then again everyone is different; results may vary greatly per individual that’s for sure. I’ve been prescribed it before and it was a far smoother experience for me vs Adderall or Dexedrine; that being said I ceased use due to sudden outbursts of rage, hyper-sexuality and mania at higher doses. Basically Meth has a tendency to be far more unpredictable than its weaker cousin, that goes without saying.

I have bad ADHD and can't sleep during the day time with or without coffee. It's possible I could at night after drinking some, but I avoid caffeine later I the day because I don't want it effecting my sleep quality. I can drink a whole pot without feeling nervous or shaky though, but it doesn't do much like medication for me in terms of slowing my thoughts & motivating me to complete boring stuff. Only thing I find caffeine really useful for is cardio and weight lifting, seems to increase my physical stamina quite a bit.

I remember taking this in the 70s but it did real well I often wondered exactly what it was I don't drink never been addicted to drugs but I feel like I do need something in my mid 60s and yes I still pitch a tent in the morning

I've been on 60mg addy a day. If I go a day without it, I can't function. Two days, and I want to die. I wish I could talk to my Dr., but my anxiety keeps me from being able to talk to almost anyone. Pharmacies are out of addys right now, can't talk to Dr like I said, so I get shit the way I have to. Not proud. The opposite. It's easy for others to say "you must talk to your Dr." That's because they don't have the problems and fear that I have talking to people. These are dark days. I appreciate your positive attitude and wish I could see the day I had one. I'm 47. Been on 60mg instant release for 30 years. Now, it's gone. 😢

I drink coffee when I can’t sleep and it helps me sleep. And I can tell you methamphetamine works better for me. I am on the strongest dose of extended release Adderall and it is not enough. for a while I was also getting a Dexedrine booster in the afternoon, but that just made me edgy methamphetamine is actually smoother at least it is for me and brings the ability to focus because I am literally trapped in my head most of the time

5:15 The thing about finding out you might have ADHD through how stimulants affect you is not 100% true! I have primarily inattentive type ADHD and it varies. I find that I need a much higher amount of caffeine, for example, for it to really wake me up and get my wired, but if I go even higher than that I need to crash after 30 minutes to an hour. For a lot of us, especially inattentive type ADHD, I think there is a sweet spot for stimulants. I also tend to be much less effected by proper ADHD meds than most people though, aside from the first couple of doses on any new medication. I’m still trying to find the right one for me.

All that said, I also have ASD and bipolar II on top of my ADHD so maybe I’m just different.

I've got ADD, ADHD, OCD and ODD and I'm dealing with depression from traumas and current things happening now in my life. Currently I try to manage really intense anxiety and stay mindful of maintaining awareness of the metaphorical line I need to constantly draw in between my anxiety and my intense paranoia from traumatic experiences dealing with law enforcement officials in my past and my current state of legality isn't in good standing currently so that it makes my anxiety and/or paranoia 100x more intense.. I'm 24 and on no "Prescribed" medication. Haven't been for almost 5 years but I'm also a "activley using" addict... Not entirely sure what the point of posting this is but I think mindfullness is important. I'm accepting of and appreciate all Questions/Comments good or bad😇
